From the Port to Your First Production Run

Every idle machine in this country was once an exciting purchase. The order went in, the production plan was drawn, customers were told to expect stock. Then the crate arrived and the trouble started. Nobody available who had set up that model before, a power supply that turned out to be wrong, a compressor nobody had mentioned, and equipment worth millions standing under tarpaulin while the calendar runs.

It happens often enough to be predictable. A good many suppliers stop caring the day the container sails. We built our model the other way round, because a machine that has not started producing has not yet done anything for you.

Sourcing, procurement, shipping, customs, delivery, installation, startup. One company through all of it, which means nobody to hand you off to and nobody to blame when something needs fixing.

Delivery to your site

Once the goods clear customs we arrange transport to your factory, warehouse or production site, and we plan the last hundred metres as carefully as the first ten thousand kilometres. Where the trailer can turn. What will lift the machine down. Whether the floor or plinth is ready to take its weight.

Equipment that is dropped badly or set out of alignment never runs quite right afterwards, and putting that right later costs more than doing it properly on the day.

Installation support

The question we hear most after a purchase is who is going to install this.

We handle assembly, positioning, setup and startup configuration, and we work through the things that catch people out. Electrical requirements. Compressor and air supply. How the line should be arranged. The operating procedure your people will actually follow.

This is done on site, at your premises, not over the phone. Our team travels to you and the work itself costs you nothing. We ask two things in return.

The first is the team’s transport to your location. What it costs to get them there and back is on your account, and we agree that figure with you before anyone sets out, so there is nothing to argue about afterwards.

The second is a named person expecting us. A manager, a director, whoever carries authority on the site. It sounds a small thing, but a team arriving to a gateman who has never heard of them loses half a day standing outside, and that half day is yours, not ours.

From installed to producing

Installation is a milestone rather than the finish. We stay through testing, trial runs and the first production, so that faults appear while somebody who knows the machine is still standing beside it.

For a first-time manufacturer this is the stage that matters most, and it is the one most suppliers leave you to face alone.
