Between a machine leaving a factory and running in your plant sit a freight forwarder, a shipping line, a terminal, customs and a haulier. Every handover is somewhere a consignment can stall and a client can lose sight of his own goods.

We manage that chain so there is one company accountable for it.

What we handle

Collection from the manufacturer and inland movement to the port of export. Ocean freight to Lagos. Import documentation including Form M and the Pre-Arrival Assessment Report, with SONCAP or NAFDAC certification where the goods require it. Clearing at Apapa or Tin Can. Delivery onward to your state.

The part people underestimate

Terminals and shipping lines allow a limited number of free days. After that, storage, demurrage and container detention accrue daily.

Port access in Lagos runs on the Eto call-up system, so a truck books a slot, waits at an approved park and moves when its ticket calls it. A driver who has not done it before turns up at the gate and loses the day, and that day is charged to you.

If you take a loaded container up-country, that empty box still has to come back to Lagos and be accepted by the line, with detention running until it is. On a long route the empty’s round trip can cost more than the freight on the goods. Often the better answer is to destuff in Lagos and move only your goods.

We plan that in advance rather than working it out after the vessel berths.

On timing, honestly

Any date we give for shipping, arrival or clearing is an estimate made in good faith. Vessels, ports and customs are not within our control. We would rather give you an honest range and keep you informed than a comfortable date that slips.

On cost

Where your goods are leaving Lagos, that inland cost is quoted separately and paid by you. Freight, duty, clearing and delivery to the stated point are shown as their own lines rather than as one figure you are asked to trust.
